1. Chemical compatibility

However, engineers should be aware that chemical compatibility tables for Electric Pump tubing should be used, rather than chemical compatibility tables for general pipelines. Because the common piping is only in general contact with chemical substances and the Electric Pump tubing is in contact with chemical fluids under pressure conditions, the chemical compatibility level of ordinary piping is not equal to the chemical compatibility level of the Electric Pump tubing. Therefore, reference should be made only to the Electric Pump tubing, rather than the general chemical compatibility level of the piping with the associated substance, which would otherwise cause the Electric Pump to fail or break the leak, resulting in damage to the pump or a hazardous accident.
Pressure
The pressure source of an Electric Pump fluid delivery system can vary. A backpressure is generated when the fluid is pushed through a filter, or the fluid is passed through a flow meter or valve, or when the fluid is pumped into a pressurized reaction vessel. Before selecting a pipe, the user should first make sure that all the pressure sources in the system have been clarified and that the measured values of the total system pressure have been obtained. When selecting pump tubing for Electric Pump, make sure that the pressure in the system does not exceed the recommended working pressure of the pump tubing. Temperature
The operating temperature range of the Electric Pump is another important factor to consider. Some pipes, such as silicone rubber, have a wide temperature range and are suitable for high temperature and low temperature processes. Some pipes such as Tygon and C-Flex are only suitable for a small temperature range. The end user should first understand the maximum temperature and minimum temperature in the system before selecting the tubing, and then ensure that the pump tube is safe to operate in this temperature range. In applications where temperature is required to be increased, the end user should consider the effect of temperature on the chemical resistance and pressure capacity of the pump tubing. When the temperature increases, the capacity of the Electric Pump tubing will be reduced.
Size
